Titus
Age: 2 yr
Weight: 68 lb
Titus is a 2-year-old Golden Retriever mix that is looking for his forever home. Titus was surrendered because of seizures, but they have been well-controlled with consistent medication. He loves to hang out with his foster humans all day long and will never turn down the opportunity to cuddle on the couch. Titus may be a big boy, but he truly believes he was meant to be a lap dog.
He is incredibly gentle and sweet, and does great around children, especially when he can snuggle up with them during movie or reading time. Long walks are a top choice activity for this fun boy, especially if he has a buddy to go the distance with. During meals, he will eagerly wait by the table for a bite but will not take it unless given. He loves enrichment toys and gets very excited when his lick mat comes out. He’s become a great eater and now takes his medications easily with his meals.
He has a calm and well-behaved temperament, however, due to his seizures, someone who is home would be ideal for him. He would do great with another medium-energy dog friend to play with. A fenced-in yard is perfect for Titus, as he loves spending time outside and exploring. He’s always eager to discover new things and will happily walk out the door to continue his neighborhood adventures.
