This beautiful purebred 3-year old golden was wandering the streets of Tirana, Albania after being abandoned by his family who moved. Cooper was at risk of being hit by a car, poisoned or getting attacked by stray dogs. Wonderful volunteers got Cooper to safety and arranged for his vetting and neuter. Cooper will take his freedom flight late June!

Marley was taken to the municipal shelter in Tirana, reportedly because her family was expecting a baby. Marley was spotted in the shelter by a kind international dog rescuer - Marley was at risk of starvation or disease which are common outcomes in this shelter. Marley was taken to safety and is a happy playful girl waiting for her freedom flight in late June!

Zeus was found as a puppy trying to feed himself from a dumpster. He was lucky enough to get rescued by a private shelter and has received very good care in Albania. Zeus is a sweet, submissive guy and is really looking forward to a home! He will take his freedom flight late June.

We were alerted to a young golden on the streets with a compound leg fracture. We weren't sure we could take on another case . . . but we said yes anyway! Adam's leg was amputated and as he healed the vet staff was so impressed with how loving and sweet Adam is! Adam is doing great as a tripod and we're going to be extra-careful with him on his freedom flight in late June.
