Aria
Age: 8 wk
Weight: growing!
Aria has been a wonderful addition to our home. The children in the foster home were present just after her birth and have started to get to know her since then. She’s shown herself to be spunky, playful, and full of energy. Aria enjoys all kinds of toys, being affectionate with adults and little humans alike, and will always be up for exploring outdoors (the limited amount we’ve been able to do thus far!)
She’s done very well with adults and children of all ages (including babies), noises from traffic, trains, household appliances, and in general seems to take a curious (but certainly not fearful!) approach to new things. When not in supervised play she spends time in a crate / pen and is able to use a pen litter box. We’ve begun basic potty training which will likely need to continue when she finds her new home - but she’s a smart puppy and should take to your home setup and routine fairly easily.
As she gets older she will need plenty of outdoor activity time so a fenced-in yard or access to parks and trails is important. She seems to get along well with others so would likely be a good fit for homes with children and/or other pets (particularly affectionate ones). She’s also started going on short harness & leash walks in our front and back yards and while her puppy curiosity can show through she’s also learning to be responsive to staying near her human and not pulling on the leash.
We’re excited to meet families interested in adopting her and sharing more about this sweet, energetic puppy!
