Meet Mia – Your New Best Friend!

Mia’s journey started all the way in Albania, and now she’s here, hoping to find the forever home of her dreams! This three-year-old sweetheart is the total package – smart, affectionate, and full of love.

Mia is a happy-go-lucky girl who adores people, including small children. While she doesn’t have any foster siblings, she seems dog-friendly and would likely enjoy a canine companion (a slow introduction is best, especially with larger dogs). She’s housebroken, has excellent manners, and doesn’t need a crate—she’s just that well-behaved!

She’s incredibly smart and a fast learner. Within just one day of arriving, she mastered “sit” and has since learned shake, stay, and is working on down. She loves long walks and has great leash manners, but don’t be surprised if she stops in her tracks when she sees a cat—she won’t budge until the coast is clear!

Mia’s favorite pastime? Sitting by the front door, watching for squirrels, and soaking up belly rubs and ear scratches. She also loves playing with a Kong filled with kibble, rolling it around until every last piece is gone.

She’d thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can run and play, and she’d do especially well with an active family. While she’d love another dog in the home, it’s not a requirement—her biggest ask is for someone who’s home at least part-time to shower her with love and attention.
