Hi! My name is Lou Grant, but my foster parents call me “Good Boy”. Although I can’t see, I am very smart. I learned my way around my foster home very quickly, even though they have some steps. I know the command “step” and I put my paw out to feel my way. At first, my foster mom called me her “furry roomba” because I would boop my nose on the walls and then back away to redirect myself. Sometimes I gently bump my wet nose on the back of your leg so I know that I’m following where we’re going. I know what to do when they take me outside and I’m quick to do my business. I just got over heartworm treatment, so they haven’t been exercising me too much, but I do love a good walk. Thank goodness they are my eyes so I don’t run into any trees! I sure do love when company comes over so I can get extra scratches and attention. I like other dogs, but I don’t really care about playing with them. I prefer my squeaky toys, but don’t mess with me when I’m concentrating on them because I can’t see you coming. I really love to go for car rides! I stick my head out the window so my nose can help me “see” what’s going on! If you’re looking for a sweet ol’ boy, I’d love for you to be my seeing-eye person!
