2018 GRCA-NRC Golden Starfish Award Winners!

NRGRR has been selected as the winner of the 2018 Golden Starfish Award, given by the Golden Retriever Club of America - National Rescue Committee! The Starfish Award recognizes the combined impact of the volunteers who make up Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue, helping goldens, golden mixes and golden-hearted dogs from the Triangle to the coast.

We couldn't have accomplished this without all of the hard work our amazing volunteers perform every day. Thank you for all you do! 

2019 Calendar Contest Winners

Congratulations to Captain Jack and Chloe for winning this year's contest! And thanks to everyone for voting and supporting NRGRR and these wonderful dogs! It was an exciting finish with a lot of votes cast in the final week. This has been another very successful fundraiser with over $11,000 raised to date.

2018 Spring Swim

It was a perfect day for a swim with hot weather and a cool lake. We had a great turn out and the dogs had a blast! Thanks to all of our volunteers who braved the heat to make it a great afternoon. Click here to find video and pictures from the spring swim.

2018 All it Takes is Love! Tennis Tournament

Thank you to everyone that played in, sponsored and donated to our second annual All it Takes is Love! tennis tournament. We raised over $22,000 to help animal shelters and rescues in eastern North Carolina especially those hit the hardest by Hurricane Florence.

2018 Raleigh Christmas Parade

Thanks to all of our volunteers who marched with us in the Raleigh Christmas Parade. We had a great turnout and it was fun to see all the dogs in their Christmas sweaters and costumes being true NRGRR golden ambassadors.
