MUSKETEER PLEASE THROW THE BALL AGAIN!

Musketeer is an energetic and friendly fellow.   He loves long walks and play time outside in the yard.    He loves attention from family and friends – belly rubs, back, and under his chin scratches – and will nuzzle repeatedly if he doesn’t want you to stop.    He only takes a little time to adjust to changes, such as a different route for his walk.    His fosters think he’s part hound because of his tracking behavior.  He loves to sniff everything, and if a new scent appears on a walk he will want to follow it until he discovers the source.   Usually a “leave it” command will suffice to get him back on track.    He does very well with “sit, wait, okay” at meal time.    On his walks “halt” and “forward” come in handy.    He will “come” when he’s in the house and called, but outside there are more distractions and he could use some work with that command.    He learns quickly, and taking him to “his potty place” is advantageous if you want to maintain a clean yard.  He will “kennel up” at bedtime or if you have to leave the house, and readily relaxes when in there.    During the day he will freely go into the open crate as well.   He loves chew toys, the harder the better.   Stay away from tennis balls though as he quickly destroys them!   He’s a lovable, easy dog!
