Available Dogs - Bakon

Hello, my name is Bakon, or you can call me Bae (Being Awesome Everyday).  I'm a sweet, smaller female with a golden playful puppy personality.  I really love to play - a lot!  I also am well behaved in the house - I know where to do my business and even like going into my crate. I am hoping my new family has a lot of time to spend with me.

Did I say, I like to play?  Take a look at my pictures - if you like what you see, come out and meet me soon.  I am ready to settle down with my new family before the end of summer - we have memories to make!

Reminder for approved applicants - to apply for one or more available dogs, contact your applications advisor. Don't know who your advisor is? Email NRGRRapplications@hotmail.com.

35 pounds

Health status:   Very good

Major personality traits:   Shy but curious when meeting new people.  Likes to play.

Interaction with dogs:

Lives with several dogs, she loves the boys and gets along with submissive females. Will not do well with a dominant female.

Interaction with cats:

No issues. Lives with cats.

Child requirements:

Excellent with older children and loves to play and run. Also does well with small children but will do best in a home that can concentrate on her, rather than small children.

Fence requirements:

Not absolutely necessary but recommended as she loves to run in the yard and play.

General activity level:

Medium to high energy and very playful outside, regular exercise and walks are needed. Relatively calm (for a one year old) inside.

Work schedule best suited for:

Prefer someone around more often than not. She does fine in her crate and also does well in the house when left alone for a few hours.

Leash manners:   Okay, but needs some work. A little nervous of vehicles passing when walking.

Degree of training needed:

Leash training, basic commands and play manners.
