Many of the dogs surrendered to us come from pet owners who did not take the time to train their dog, resulting in dogs that misbehave or create havoc within the home.  Dogs are not born knowing what is considered appropriate versus inappropriate behavior; they depend on us to teach them house rules and good manners.
